I'm Chevon, a father of two daughters and the founder of Father Figure.
I've worked with children, youth, adults and families in schools and community services. I've seen what a difference it can make when someone takes the time to listen, build trust and offer practical support.
Being a father has taught me something just as important: parenting isn't always easy. We don't always have all the answers, and sometimes we need support ourselves.
That's why I started Father Figure—to work alongside parents, help them understand what's happening at home and find strategies they can actually use.

Every child deserves positive people in their corner.
I've seen how important a consistent, caring adult can be in a child's life. For some children, that person is their father. For others, it's a grandfather, uncle, coach, mentor or another trusted adult.
Not every child has an active father or positive male role model. Father Figure encourages fathers and father figures to be present and involved, while also supporting mothers, caregivers and all families who want to build stronger connections.
